The bridge is located on the Belgrade bypass on the E70–75 highway.
The total bridge length is 1,787 m. The roadway width is 14.40 m. The main structure, 583 m long, consists of a main span of 198 m and 4 side spans of 3×99 + 88 m. There are six approach structures, each almost 200 m long, with 6–7 shorter spans of 30–35 m. The main bridge is steel with a variable-height main girder. The approach structures are executed as pre-stressed concrete structures with a typical cross-section of four I-girders, 2.1 m high.

The bridge superstructure was severely damaged during the NATO bombing in 1999.
The scope of work included assessing the condition of the bridge structure after the NATO bombing.
